Climate policy is destroying Germany's economy, as Biden tried to do to the USA | Eastern NC Now

8th year of industrial decline

ENCNow

What the Biden regime tried to do to the US and the Trump administration saved us from, is on full display in Germany.  Aggressive "climate policies" have made energy policies skyrocket, and the country is de-industrializing.  Germany is in its eighth straight year of industrial decline.  Some industries like chemicals, mechanical engineering, and automaking are almost on life support with companies closing, downsizing, or sending production outside of Germany.

The culprit?  Angela Merkel's "Energiewende" (energy transition) shut down nuclear, coal, and gas fired power to move to intermittent, weather-dependent, and expensive wind and solar.  German industry is now paying three times as much for its electricity as some of its competitors.  Business and industrial organizations are sounding the alarm.

Many Germans are starting to wake up.  The party leading in the polls, the populist nationalist anti-immigration Alternativ fur Deutschland, is calling for removal of the wind turbines and returning to reliable and affordable energy generation.  However, the country may have already gone too far down the anti-CO2 rabbit hole.

A few months ago, the neighboring Czech Republic elected a new government that campaigned against UN and EU climate policy, its leading party and its new prime minster calling it "Green Madness".  Shortly before that, another neighboring country Switzerland, went to the polls in a referencum and overwhelmingly rejected a new "climate tax."

One of the best presentations of the science that debunks the global warming / climate change theory is the British TV documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which can be warched at this link:

Darren Armstrong's latest "birds of a feather"? The liberal school board challengers, Monica Davis and Jennifer Cornelius. If you walk by Armstrong's tent at early voting at the Board of Elections, he has signs up for both of them. We already knew about his close alliance with RINO Frankie Waters.

Here is another telling detail on Armstrong and his special interest fixation. The out of state chemical company that Darren Armstrong wants to protect from lawsuits by injured North Carolinians is Monsanto. Guess whose genetically modified seeds Darren Armstrong produces at his seed operation? Monsanto. Funny thing, that!

Kidwell was a Trump delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, not a Cruz delegate. Get your facts straight, Washingtonian.

Nominating a RINO like former Marc Basnight Democrat retread Darren Woolard will not heal any rift in the party

Kidwell is so ignorant that he supported Ted Cruz for President, despite the fact that Cruz showed us all, his Canadian Birth Certificate.

Kidwell and Garris with the Secret Committee, are ruining our local vibes. Such actions are from the minds of a dictator mentality.
JUST SAY NO to KIDWELL so we can heal the rift in Beaufort County.

Self-interested politician? That describes Darrell Armstrong. All he wants to talk about is his own industry, Big Ag. His website, his ads, and his comments at public functions are all about farming and darn little else. He is a "johnny one note" on his own industry. I cannot imagine anything more self serving.

Kidwell is ax accountant and tax preparer. He talks about real world issues in his campaign, not his own personal livlihood.

We need a legislator who cares about our issues, not just his own. Armstrong is all about Big Ag and nothing else. That is totally self-serving.

Washingtonian, you sound just like Obama or AOC. All about "change" while obscuring what you would be changing to.

The man of the Raleigh RINO elite in that race is named Dareen Armstrong. That is who recruited him to run. That is who is pushing his candidacy, like with all the postcards of an endorsement from liberal Raleigh uber-RINO Steve Troxler. Armstrong is the one a big special interest PAC from Raleigh is pumping gobs of money into the race.

Kidwell and the Freedom Caucus have been the Raleigh RINO elite's worst nightmare, which is why they and the special interests are trying to get rid of him. It is unforturnate that there are useful idiots locally who go along with the Raleigh RINOs and special interests..

Lets not forget that Armstrong's political history is as a Marc Basnight Democrat while Kidwell's is as a Trump Republican. If you cannot comprehend the significance of that difference, I am sorry.

Right now the NC House seems to be turning its back on its former RINOism. Speakers Thom Tillis and Tim Moore were uber-RINOs. The current Speaker is much more open to conservatives and is standing up to the Senate RINO cabal led by Phil Berger. That is why Berger send Jimmy Dixon to recruit challengers to the six top leaders of the Freedom Caucus. It is all about the RINOs getting back control, and that is what Armstrong is part of.

The YOUTH are going to vote to replace the old tired self-serving politicians such as KIDWELL.
He's a politician's politician! A man of Raleigh's elitist.

Our local Republican Party cannot heal until we ...
Just SAY NO TO KIDWELL and the Garris' Secret Committee.

As usual, Washingtonian is firing blanks.

"Money interests"??? If you go through Kidwell's contributions on the State Board of Elections website, you will find NO registered lobbyists and NO special interest PACs. For an incumbent legislator to have none of those contributions means he is NOT in the pocket of any of the lobbyists or special interests. He does not even get the token contributions from big support buyers like Duke Energy so that legislators will at least talk to their lobbyists.

Among individual contributions, Kidwell has a lot more regular people and a lower average contribution than Armstrong. He also gets support from a much wider variety of people.

On the other hand, a major special interest is dumping tons of money into the district to try to buy the seat for Armstrong. That Big Ag special interest PAC is flooding out mailboxes with mailers. No special interest is doing that for Kidwell. Also if you look at Armstrong's individual contributions, a very large part of them come from one special interest.

Your big money special interest guy, Washingtonian, is Armstrong and political contribution records plus our mailboxes prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
