I want to add my thanks for Bob Huets to that of Delma Blinson. Bob has done a great job in moving us one step closer to ending the disaster that the EDC has created with the industrial parks.

The recent suspension of Mr. Tom Thompson’s pay until he meets his requirement to prepare and present the Economic Development Commission’s annual report for 2011 is long over due.

The long-time director, Tom Thompson, has submitted his resignation effective June 30, 2012 and there have been some rumblings that the County is reassessing the role and function of the various facets of the economic development program.
