Your own conservative PAC loyalists, or are they really, which one made the motion to close Snowden and the other supported. You just can't stand the truth can you. I may not live south of the river but I watch and pay attention. Maybe you should.

This article names the so-called "four conservative PAC members" and that 2 of them voted in opposition to closing Snowden. It failed to mention that the other 2 voted to close Snowden and that one even made the motion to move forward with the closing. Might want to include all the facts next time.

Countywide zoning is a terrible idea. We do not need more government control in our lives. Don't vote for any commissioner who is in favor of countywide zoning.

Commented on Beaufort Superintendent and School Board majority deleted Founding Fathers from curriculum requirementsReaders keep asking me about cursive writing. I never said it shouldn't be taught or used. I said my children were taught it in school but rarely use it. Almost all their work is done on computers. I work in the business world and almost never need to use cursive writing either. But I'm all for learning it because it's better to have and not need it than to need it and not have it. Just stop saying it's not taught in schools.

Commented on Beaufort Superintendent and School Board majority deleted Founding Fathers from curriculum requirementsJohn Steed, you asked me a question about the school board hiring an attorney from halfway across the state so I'll answer. Maybe they see HR arguing with the commissioners local attorney at every meeting and thought that might not be a good idea. I don't know the reason but I know it's normal practice for lots of boards to do so. Not here to argue with you just ask that facts be used and truth be told. With 2 kids in the local school system I know what goes on in schools here. BTW, they were both taught cursive writing in local schools but don't use it. Is that good or bad, I don't know. I want them to know cursive writing but I doubt they'll use it much. And btw, I would be just as upset as you if they weren't taught Founding Principles. But they were and are being taught. Give credit where it is due and when it's not I'll be the first to agree with you.

Also, I researched it and it is a requirement by NC General Statues. So I guess the board saw no need to include it in a local policy since it is required. It's called American History in high school. So you're wrong again but accuracy has never been a priority on this blog site.

So you go back on the attack because that's all you know how to do.

Name which schools are an "F" currently or ever has been in Beaufort County. HINT _ the answer is none but I'm waiting. This article contains MANY false statements but for now I'll just wait on your answer about "F" schools in Beaufort County.
