On Tuesday June 7th in Beaufort County Superior Court three Washington men were sentenced for crimes committed in 2009 and 2010.

Mr. Perry Lee Wright, 74, a resident of 18421 N.C. Highway 33 East, Blounts Creek, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Beaufort County Medical Center. The family will receive friends at the home.

Eleanor Dolly Butler Perry, 77, formerly a resident of 704 Center St., Windsor, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at Chowan Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, with the Revs. Paul Jackson and J.N. Baggett officiating.

Violet Rae Dunlow Mizell, 83, of 403 Old U.S. Highway 17 North, died Monday, June 13, 2011 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greens Cross Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor.
