There is a huge difference in vetting of legal immigrants and illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens usually throw away their real ID before they cross the border. Reporters have found vast piles of discarded ID's on the south bank of the Rio Grande, for instance. After they cross the border, they are then "undocumented" so they can be anyone they want to be, give whatever name, whatever age, and whatever country of origin they think will most benefit them. Multiple European countries that have used other tests to discover true age, for example, have found that a majority of illegal aliens who claim to be unaccompanied minors are, in fact, adults lying about their age. In Sweden, it was as high as 90%. When authorities do not have the correct name, age, and country, how are they expected to do any meaningful vetting????? For those with criminal records or on terrorist lists, you can expect 100% of them to give false information to get into the country. For legal immigrants, they are most of the time still in their home country, where it is easy to find out if they are giving their true identities and then to thoroughly check their background. These are people who can be properly vetted. Illegal aliens are NOT. One thing that would help a lot when an illegal alien is processed is a polygraph.

The real unfairness of the way our immigration system has been run is Biden allowing illegal aliens in line in front of legal immigrants who are trying to do it the right way. If we need more immigrants, there is a big waiting list of people who are applying properly, not trying to sneak to the head of the line. Legal immigrants should ALWAYS have precedence over those who do not respect our immigration laws.
On the immigration debate, I think of my former employee, Sergiu, when I was running an American-funded office in Moldova. Sergiu was our accountant, with a university degree and excellent written and spoken English. His wife was a law student, also with excellent English skills. They applied repeatedly to emigrate to the United States, but there were a lot more Moldovans applying to immigrate than there were immigration slots. Finally, he also applied to Canada. It turned out that accounting was a skill Canada was looking for in immigrants and he was accepted the first time he applied. As with legal US immigration, he and his wife went through extensive medical and background checks and he was required to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), a test many Americans would have a hard time passing. He passed that test on the first try, getting his immigrant visa soon after. Although it meant I had to hire a new accountant, I was happy for Sergiu and his wife when they were able to board the plane to their new life in Prince Edward Island, Canada. We have a screwed up immigration system, when people like Sergiu are left on waiting lists while unvetted illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our immigration laws are waved across the border, too many of them connected to foreign criminal gangs. I am happy that President Trump is working hard to fix that.

From multiple databases, there is NO "Bill Lee" or "William Lee" in Beaufort County. This is obviously a pseudonym for some leftwinger. He sounds a lot like the dude who used to call himself "Big Bob" on this site, but he also sounds a lot like Frankie Waters. Could it be? Whoever he or she is, they obviously are unable to respond to all the facts thrown at them in responses.

Without borders, we are not a country. America cannot be the world's welfare provider to every deadbeat who wants to show up on our doorstep. The open-borders advocates are simply anti-American. Biden's open borders policy was a conspiracy to destroy America. It is great that it is gone. Deportation of illegal aliens is the way to correct that problem.

RINO Hunter: Frankie Waters, if he was a Republican, he would be in violation of the Republican Party Platform and any party code of ethics. Having said that, there are members of the Beaufort County GOP, who will with a straight face, acknowledge that Frankie Waters is a Republican ...
But as one of Beaufort County's consummate Republicans, I would supremely doubt that sophistic acknowledgement.

Frankie Waters even contributed to and supported the Democrat nominee for sheriff in the last general election. How can he claim to be a Republican? Waters had to resign from the Beaufort County GOP executive committee when that was brought out for party disloyalty.
That is not Waters first rodeo in supporting a Democrat while he claimed to be a Republican. While he was running his first time as a "Republican" for county commissioner, I am told that he contributed to a Democrat legislator who represented part of the county and had a GOP opponent. Then there is the issue of illegal immigration, which Waters is not in tune with the GOP base on. He seems more in tune with this lefty Bill Lee on that issue. Maybe Bill Lee is Frankie Waters screen name? Questions like this can and should be dealt with in the primary if Waters runs again.

Washingtonian: That is simple; effectively, the vast majority of the members of the "Democratic" party are Democratic Socialists.
In Beaufort County, even the local county GOP is not restricting Democratic Socialists from the local county GOP. It is rather frustrating for Conservatives in local politics /governing as elected real Republicans, where the Center-Left /Left Coalition, in the majority on the Beaufort County's Board of County Commissioners, is comprised of two Democratic Socialist and two Republic Imposters, actually governing as Democrats. Effectively, the local county GOP does not vet candidates or politicians once they knowingly show the World, by their actions, that they are "Democratics."

Why does the Democratic Party allow Democratic Socialist in the Party? IF one is a Democratic Socialist then one is NOT a Democratic.(Democrat) How long before the Democratic Party allows "Democratic Communist" inside the Party?

Then who are you talking about when you bring up "Tusk"???? Donald Tusk is the only person by that last name I am aware of in either US or world politics.
Globalism is the totalitarian threat in the 21st century just as Naziism and Communism were in the last century. Mass migration is one of the things they are pushing to try to bring down national governments.

I try but to no avail. We are not ready. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Donald Tusk, the prime minister of Poland (at least for now, as his government seems to be unraveling over illegal immigration) is definitely a globalist, and therefore an elitist. I am not familiar with Mrump. Oh, and when the Tusk government goes, the polls show that nationalists and ultra-nationalists will have a majority and Poland will decisively reject globalism.

While we are talking about elitism, Tusk and Mrump, are they eligible or are we down grading them?
Someone said something about secret cities for the special purpose people. Well now those are just underground right? I mean that’s one of Lonnie’s specialties. As it was written: “And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.” (Isaiah 2:19)

There will be globalism. Who is able to make war with the beast?
Someone really has a beef with ice water? That’s wild, lukewarm is no good, as it was written: “ I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” (Rev 3:15)

Borderhawk, I think it was about a decade ago, that a man with the UN was ranting about ice water and ice in water. He wanted to put an end to it. I dont recall if his beef was Climate or Unequality. But to him Iced water was a symbol of great wrong.
Iced water is one of the pleasures in life, that the Socialist would have us do with out.

Globalism is based on elitism. Their WEF confabs at Davos have lots of luxury private jets parked and lots of high end prostitutes ready for action. Yet they want to preach to the masses about "global warming" and eating bugs and worms instead of meat. Mass migration is one of their tactics to try to break down the nation-state. Their version of socialism or the Great Reset would resemble the comment of the leader of the pigs in Orwell's "Animal Farm" when he said "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."

Socialism means everyone will be equally miserable and equally poor.
EXCEPT for the elites. Do ya'll recall that after the Soviet Union fell, they found very exclusive Luxurious & SECRET neighborhoods where the privileged ELITES lived. The rest of the citizens had no idea it existed. I believe that most big name Dems dont fear Socialism because they believe they will be protected within the group of privileged Elites. I wouldnt bet on it.

Hood, the US used to have something like you describe, the old Bracero Program, where foreign farm workers came in through a controlled and monitored program, worked, and then went home. It was repealed by Democrats in Congress after pressure to do so from Cesar Chavez' United Farm Workers Union. The union was made up of mostly Hispanic farm workers who were American citizens and did not like the foreign worker competition. Chavez also constantly told his union members to report illegal aliens they were aware of living in the US to the Border Patrol, for the same reason.
