Commented on The Purge is complete and officialAs bad as it might seem for Beaufort County Conservatives, this will be the greatest opportunity to lead willing folks toward a far more constructive path forward - 56patriots.com
This fledgling platform, yet to be fully formed, is designed for many issues, not least of which is rooting out government /political corruption.

Tillis is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE for any office, as are his associates like those mentioned above. We must beat them in the primaries, as the only other alternative is to just skip over those races. There is no significant difference between tillis and his liberal minions and a Democrat. Republicans simply have to do better than Tillis swamp creatures.

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicAlvin Bragg ran for DA on a platform of going after Trump. He said so in his campaign, as did New York state's Attorney General, Letitia James. Both were financed by crooked far left totalitarian moneyman George Soros. Any DA or AG who campaigns on going after a political opponent and then doing so ought to be fired and ought to be prosecuted themselves for abuse of office. They are a threat to democracy. www.breitbart.com

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicThat article "The Day America Became Russia" from The European Conservative linked in the post says it all. It is worse than a banana republic. We are now the United Soviet States of America (USSA). Even folks across the Atlantic can see what is being done to us.

Commented on The Purge is complete and officialSteve, I well remember the 2013 Beaufort County Republican Convention, because I was the outgoing chairman in that convention. You're right. A different faction was well in control that year and it was very tempting to close access to the party to those who had treated many of us so atrociously very recently - including me. We had the power to do it, but we didn't do it. We didn't do it for the good of the party and for the good of our community.
More mature people need to step up and be leaders in this regard, for the good of the party and for the good of our community.

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicIn the American banana republic, leftwing politicians like Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and Al Gore never get held accountable when they actually do something, but hack political prosecutors make up ridiculous charges on Donald Trump. Many legal experts have weighed in that even if one believed the convicted liar whose rantings are the basis of these charges, then at most they would be a misdemeanor and the statute of limitations has run. The America that we have known simply ceased to exist yesterday. The courts are now fully weaponized for political prosecution. That Latin American president who said "imagine what would have been said if I had done that to one of my political opponents" after the politicized raid on Mar-a-Lago hit the nail on the head.

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicThe attacks on our civil liberties and our democracy from the redical Democrats just keep coming. Maybe it is time for a divorce between those states that still believe in American principles and those which believe in globalist tyranny.

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicActually it's the opposite of "Banana Republic" In a Banana republic a guy like trump would never be held accountable for anything. It's the definition of Banana Republic. Just sayin.

Commented on We woke up this morning in a banana republicBoth the Tara Reade situation with Joe Biden and the Paula Jones situation with Bill Clinton involved much more sexual activity and were not consentual at all in the case of the molestion of Reade by Biden or not completely in the case of Clinton's activities with Jones. Whateven may have happened between Trump and Stormy Daniels seems to be a lot less nvolved and was consentual. There was a massive payoff to Jones which Clinton was personally involved in. There was a likely payoff with taxpayer money to Reade but the fund likely used for that has stonewalled on saying whether it paid anything out or not. The very worst incident was Biden's digital rape of his own staffer, but that has been swept under the rug. Then one can look at Al Gore's multiple sexual assaults on women, none of which has ever been punished. There is a very differnt standard these days in our country for politicians on these matters, depending on which side of the aisle one is on, and Governor deSantis is quite correct that this is un-American to politically prosecute a presidential candidate like this.

Commented on The Purge is complete and officialBubba: It goes deeper than that. There are some Trump supporters, who sense it is fashionable to be that way in Beaufort County; who are quite derisive of The Hood. Maybe if Commissioner Richardson had done a very popular reality show, it would be different for them.
I will agree to this, like the President, The Hood is a lighting rod that better serves as a divining rod for the best path to good self-government.

Commented on The Purge is complete and officialThis is just like national politics. The Never Hooders are the same breed of cat as the Never Trumpers. Both groups put style over substance, and both groups expand their hatred to lots of others than the targeted politician. Trump and Richardson are much the same, dependable supporters of the taxpayers and America First principles but who are sometimes rather shrill and sometimes do a bit too much name calling. Both make posts on the internet that are sometimes controversial. That gets the establishment's panties in a twist. Look for a local version of the twisted Lincoln Project. Maybe they will call it the Sherman project or the Langley Project. Richardson should be called the Trump of Beaufort County.

The left is trying to groom vulnerable gender confused children, most of whom would naturally grow out of it according to the medical experts, into following a destructive lifestyle. Shameful.

Commented on Legislature overrides Cooper's veto of gun billCriminals and the mentally ill should not be carrying guns. A good example is that nutjob suffering from gender dysphoria who murdered three 9 year old children and 3 adults at that Christian school in Tennessee. Law abiding citizens without mental disorders are those who should be able to exercise their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
