    Senator Bill Cook (R-District 1) released the following statement after being declared the winner in this year’s midterm election:

    "I am humbled by the good faith of those who have re-elected me. Electing our leaders is one of the most precious rights afforded to us by the U.S. Constitution", Cook said. "I am thankful for all of the help received from my supporters, and I will continue to represent the views of my constituents. Jobs, economic prosperity, education and infrastructure will again be my top priorities."

Bill Cook and Paul Tine, both, helped me quickly helped me get the facts on Property Tax Legislation. The real measure of any politician is availability to his constituents on any matter being a concern.

I congratulate Bill on his victory. Let's get NC going once more / let's reconsider the Fracking Danger. Remember, any water coming from the mountains to the sea in the Pamlico River Basin passes in front of my house and beside Washington. It is our river where fracking and coal ash dumping kill aquaculture.
