Harvey Mason was a special and remarkable man who will be grieved for and greatly missed by many, many people. He had three major careers in his life. The first was as a lumberman until the age of 40. At that time he embarked on a completely different career for the next 25 years as a radio and television engineer. He was chief engineer for WITN-TV for 21 years until he retired at the age of 65. From the age of 98 to 100, he built a 42 foot pontoon boat. He enjoyed building boats about as much as he did riding and fishing on them.
