    Mr. Larry Alexander White, age 71, a resident of Washington, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.

    Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, December 27, 2014 at First Church of Christ and will be conducted by Steve Hill and Gene Andrews. Burial will follow in Robersonville Cemetery.

    Mr. White was born in Martin County on October 27, 1943 to the late William Alton White Sr. and Nealie Rodgerson White. He was a 1961 graduate of Oak City High School and was former owner/operator of Atlantic Ice Company in New Bern. He was a member of First Church of Christ and was a former member of Antioch Free Will Baptist Church in New Bern.

    Survivors include two sisters, Judy W. Davenport and husband Jim of Snow Hill, Nancy Walker and husband Harry of Charlotte, Special friend, Carolyn Schoch of Merritt and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, William White.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
