    Ms. Wendy Joyce Taylor, age 54, a resident of 3591 Gilead Shores Road, Blounts Creek, NC, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00a.m.Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington officiated by Pastor Danny Hoell. Burial will follow in Taylor Family Cemetery.

    Ms. Taylor was born in Beaufort County on December 8, 1960 to the late Roland Elwood Taylor and Salley Gray Griffin Taylor, who survives. She was a 1979 graduate of Chocowinity High School and attended Ashford University. Ms. Taylor was a school bus driver with Beaufort County Schools.

    In addition to her mother, Salley Taylor of Blounts Creek, NC, Ms. Taylor is survived by two sons, Rodney Clark, Jr. and wife Kristie of Robersonville, NC and Randy Clark and wife Brittany of Chocowinity, NC, a sister, Judy Hoell and husband Pastor Danny Hoell of Gastonia, NC and two grandchildren, Bret Clark and Lydia Clark.

    The family will receive friends on Monday January 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of her mother, Mrs. Salley Taylor, 3591 Gilead Shores Road, Blounts Creek, NC.
