BCN Bests its Best Month to Date | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Just one month ago, we similarly expressed this singular truth that our traffic was marching forward at a far greater clip than I anticipated, propelling us firmly into the No. 1 spot of all web sites originating from Beaufort County. Now after February's blow-out numbers, our gains are solidified.

    As mentioned often, which bears re-mentioning again and again, BCN is Symbiotic Networks' (SNI's) prototype for our proprietary Content Management System, Symbiotic Publisher. As the prototype, where every line of proprietary code is our own, we are very encouraged by these traffic numbers, which catapult us well into the top spot here in Beaufort County. While much of our success is due to our extensive content, equal credit can be given to our 'leading edge' technology. To be succinct, the powerful CMS that runs BCN can run your site too; but, of course, that can't happen unless you actually want a more powerful site. Some don't; most should.

    But that is what we are into here at SNI; it's all about the power, and we provide it in copious measure. To that noble extent, we proudly display our traffic numbers for the month of February here below:

    Before last month's illustrious exhibit of outreach efficiency, we last had our very best month in September, 2014. Shortly, thereafter that September hit, we began our last and very complete overhaul of our BCN outer structure, our 'cutting edge' template, and it may well be the key component of our most recent success. If this magnitude continues in BCN's ascension in readership, I will next possibly blame it mostly on our Movie Database, which is now almost two months past its initial creation.

    Milestones for Beaufort County NOW: Our Growing Readership in February, 2015

     •   Most Unique IPs visiting BCN per day - 5,329    - 45.99% increase over the last month.

     •   Most Unique Page Views per day - 127,494    - 38.85% increase over the last month.

     •   Reached the significant milestone of 1,400 posts in BCN with a minimum of 1,400 unique views back in January, 2015, proving that BCN is a very large, very well read site. The next milestone, in this vein of logic, will be BCN achieving 1,500 posts with a minimum of 1,500 unique views each. Hopefully, we will reach this milestone by the middle of the year.

     •   Reached over 8,000 unique IPs for one day . Also during the month, we had the most days ever over 5,000 unique IPs with 19. Our best preceding month with days over 5,000 unique IPs was 7.
