    Mrs. Claudette "Sue" Ware Crosby, age 80, of Washington, NC passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2015.

    Mrs. Crosby was born in Elkin, West Virginia on March 4, 1934 to the late William C. Ware and Maple Elizabeth White Ware. She is survived by her loving husband, Clarence "Bing" Crosby Jr.; her two children: Scott of Huntington, NY and Donna of Washington, NC; her three grandchildren: Noelle and Lauren Gargaro of Washington, NC and Amelia Crosby of Huntington, NY; her three sisters: Jane of West Virginia, Martha of North Carolina and Carolyn of Florida. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Claudia Lou, at birth.

    She served as the Executive Secretary at Atlantic Research Company in Arlington, VA and at Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage, L.I., NY, as well as secretary at Hicksville United Methodist Church, Hicksville, L.I., NY. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Pomonok Chapter Number 855 of West Virginia. Her hobbies included making beaded flowers, ceramics,crocheting and reading.

    The family has requested that there will be no services.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Better Breathers Club, 628 East 12th St., Washington, NC 27889.

    Mr. Mike Jackson, age 63, a resident of East Eighth Street, Washington, died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

    Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.

    Allen F Padgett, 67, a resident of 3451 Harvey Road, Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Washington.

    The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.

    Arrangements are by Jimmy D. Sawyer Funeral Director Licensee.
