Have We Become 'A Swing and a Miss' Nation? | Eastern NC Now

Please forgive the baseball metaphor here, but somehow, it seems quite proper for an administration that just keeps striking out. Hillary B. Clinton was a big part of all that.

    After more than 6 years of Amateur Obama's patent dishonesty and sophistry, the Democrats appear to want more of the same, or maybe worse, with Hillary B. Clinton: Or do they?

    It is not that actively adamant Democrats have suddenly developed a patriotic conscience, it is, moreover, they know that a Hillary B. Clinton run for the presidency may encounter some political 'rough sledding', and the Democrats have no one in the proverbial bullpen. If Ms. Benghazi crashes and burns from the congressional investigations, and, simultaneously, the Mainstream Media actually experience a crisis of conscience, and develop a journalist's principled soul, Hillary B. could be politically finished. Currently, Hillary B. Clinton is lightly being investigated, and reported on, by Mainstream Media sources: Newsweek, Washington Post, New York Times. Peter Schweizer's eye-opening maxim, Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich, is most definitely the catalyst to these liberal publications' unexpected brush with principled journalistic behavior.

    Color me cynical, or optimistic (depending on your brush with reality), but I actually believe there are components within the massively politically active Mainstream Media, who may realize that they must briefly report the facts as found, regardless of the damage done to Ms. Benghazi, or suffer the consequences of no viable liberal Democrat in the 2016 presidential sweepstakes. Timing is critical at this juncture as to whether they can put forth a candidate that is not as ethically challenged as the public records destroying Ms. Rodham Clinton, who is believed to sell off the truth in shards, just as it appears she sells her People's vested interest and prestige abroad.

    Ethically blind Liberals, of the low information variety, will point to an outstanding job performance by Ms. Benghazi, as Secretary of State, when racking up her big government 'frequent flyer miles', but, actually accomplished nothing noteworthy - at least not for the nation she represented. Today, the Middle East is on fire, and burning where ever Muslim Extremists practice their broadcast genocide of the innocents, but Hillary and Bill have gone from being 'dead broke', when leaving the White House in 2001, to making 109 million dollars in the last 8 years selling access. Furthermore, as the Hussein Obama Administration stood mute, Russia's 'reset' was a green light to their renewed hegemony, North Korea now has deliverable nuclear warheads, and Iran is the new Persia, soon with nuclear capabilities. It kind of makes one wonder the worst, and recently, I posted this on my personal Facebook page to manifest my frustration as a patriot and my utter disgust with those that are not:

    Can this nation stand 4 more years of the Obama Doctrine with fellow Alinsky advocate Hillary B. Clinton as president?

    If you are intelligent enough to know that Obama is the most dishonest president of modern times, but dishonest enough yourself to embrace his deceits, you'll love Hillary.

    For Ms. Benghazi the 'end will always justify the means'. She is the perfect Liberal: not too smart, all about status, and dishonest as they come.

    Could this pumpkin-headed, overweight, already doughty, first time grandmother, who now finally 'gets the middle class' headed for the presidency?

    Time will tell.

    This next election will, more than ever, be about the electorate, this nation, than it will be about any of the candidates.

    Just how smart are you, how honest are you, we, the American People?

    At the crux of "Clinton Cash" are the veiled allegations that the Clinton's are selling access to the core of our nation, including its treasury and natural resources- uranium - for huge amounts of cash; enough cash that Hillary Benghazi Clinton destroyed her public records as secretary of state. One has to wonder: Just what is Ms. Clinton hiding? I believe it goes well beyond her failed stint as secretary of state under the failed presidency of Barack Hussein Obama.

    In continuing the baseball analogy, our nation can not get on base because of the ineptitude of management, and when we are in the field, playing defense, the pitcher is failing and there are no Democrats in the depleted bullpen to 'put out the fire' at home and abroad.

    Regardless, Hillary B. Clinton will never be the answer for this nation unless this nation has settled for complete decline - a decline from whence there is no return. I will fight to the end for that not to occur.
