 On 11-24-2015, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Kelly White, 28 years of age, of 54 Warf Road in Washington, Franklin Fulford Jr., 49 years of age, of 54 Warf Road in Washington and Linwood Lee Austin, 23 years of age of 5399 VOA Road in Washington. White and Fulford were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Austin was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine.

 Their arrest stemmed from Investigators executing a Search Warrant at 54 Warf Road in Washington and finding Methamphetamine and toxic materials used to manufacture Methamphetamine.

 Clandestine Lab Agents with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations responded to the scene. Clandestine Lab Agents collected evidence and removed toxic materials and equipment that are commonly used in the One Pot Method (Shake and Bake) of Manufacturing Methamphetamines.

 White and Fulford were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under no bond. Austin was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $25,000.00 secured bond.

On February 12, 2025, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit conducted a follow up investigation on information received following an arrest made in Pitt County by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force on January 16, 2025.
On January 28, 2025 at approximately 12:24 PM, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an unresponsive person at 2048 Robersonville Rd. in Washington.
