I think that The Donald is now resorting to what I used to call the Bobby Knight method of coaching. When his team is not winning, he resorted to throwing chairs and acting like a jerk. His purpose was not just a temper tantrum. It was to motivate his players and intimidate he referees in hopes they would not call a foul for fear of his reaction. Some would point out that he was one of the winningest coaches ( #8 ) in basketball history. That may work in the game of basketball and sports but it is not what I would want in a President. Winning at any cost is not an admirable attribute. |
I was just watching the replay of the NASCAR race in Atlanta this past weekend. When they interviewed the winner after the race, I had an epiphany. It was The Donald. Here is a partial transcript of the interview in the Winners Circle.
"Well, we had a tremendous crowd that came to see me win this race. I was amazing the whole race. Most of the fans in the stands were there to see me and no one else. The other drivers could not get a phone booth full if they had to. I was so dominant that they should have just quit the race. I built this track and made the fans pay for it. That number 88 never had a chance. Did you see the way he choked when I passed him on the backstretch? Number 18 was scared to death when he saw me in his mirror. I know I could have done this alone but I want to thank the illegals that I had on my crew in the pits. They were able to change the tires and refuel me just like I hired them to do. They are on their way back to Mexico until nest week". It was then that I woke up and realized that I had drifted off during the replay. I may be watching too much Fox News. |
The Pope was misinterpreted. I had Latin in HS. He said the Vatican would pay for the Wall.

Now this is a funny image. Perfect.

The media is playing it up for ratings as usual, I read the transcript and saw a full clip it and he left himself some wiggle room unlike the Donald.
Tomorrow night will be interesting and I guess NC will be in turmoil pending the court decisions. beaufortcountynow.com |
I agree: Mark 12:17 - "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s."

I apologize, I can't give The Donald a 1/8 pass for his comments on the Pope. For those who are getting their info in clips, do some research on exactly what the Pope said and the premise of the question asked.
However, I do think the Pope should stick to his calling and stay away from secular pronouncements. |
