Press Release:

Raleigh, NC     Today the North Carolina Trump-Pence campaign released the following statements from state leaders encouraging participation in early voting that begins today. The early voting period in North Carolina lasts until November 5, in accordance with state election law.

  • "Today is the beginning of the early voting process in North Carolina. As a member of the American Bar Association's Standing Committee on Election Law and advisor on the American Law Institute's book, 'Principles of Election Law: Dispute Resolution,' I encourage registered voters to take advantage of the early voting period and to vote for the candidate of their choice. We are granted an incredible right under our laws and the ability to exercise that right during this period ensures more North Carolinians will engage in the voting process." -- Cleta Mitchell, Esq.

  • "I am reminded of the great privilege our nation has bestowed upon us as residents. We are granted the right to cast ballots for the candidates of our choosing. I believe our elections are the most honest and fair process by which we are able to choose our leaders and I encourage all eligible North Carolinians to join in the election of our government and to do so during this early voting period." - Rep. Mark Meadows, (R-NC)

The Trump-Pence campaign encourages voters across the state to participate in early voting by locating specific information for their county through the North Carolina Board of Elections website at http://www.ncsbe.gov/Elections/Election-Information
