Here is what I BELIEVE | Eastern NC Now

    So let me see if I've got this straight. I am not supposed to BELIEVE a group of emails from a known source with verbatim details because it may be fake. But I am supposed to BELIEVE that an unattributed, non-sourced, news media report citing Anonymous sources that the Russians were hacking someone's account because they want to rig an election by divulging emails that I am not supposed to BELIEVE are true.

    It kinda of boils down to what I BELIEVE, which is where I started. Everyone is spending tons of money trying to influence what I BELIEVE. When I don't BELIEVE what they think I should BELIEVE, they want to change the system to reflect what they BELIEVE. Facebook is introducing a feature that allows me to tag a news source that I BELIEVE is fake news. Then they will investigate it to see if they BELIEVE it is fake news.

    If they BELIEVE it is FAKE NEWS, they will submit it to Snopes, Fact Check, or Truth or Fiction to see what they BELIEVE. They will render a verdict with either a green check mark or a mark red circle. That way I will know what to .............BELIEVE! .......Unless I don't BELIEVE them.

   So here is what I BELIEVE. I am so glad I live in a country where I have the FREEDOM to BELIEVE what I want to BELIEVE. I could be living in Russia where they tell me what to believe.
