Senator Chuck Schumer is Calling Congress into Special Session for his Own Address to the Nation Tomorrow Night | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is not one to be upstaged by a non-politician, especially when the non-politician is the President of the Good Ole USofA. He has enacted a little-known clause in the Constitution that no one has ever heard of which will allow any Senate Minority Leader to call Congress into Special Session whenever said Minority Leader finds himself completely flummoxed.

    By use of this Unknown Constitutional Provision, he is calling all of Congress back into a Special Chuck Session tomorrow to explain why he feels The Donald is the first President of the United States who can't be trusted, except for all the other Republican Presidents who also could not be trusted.

    My sources have been all over this developing story and have obtained a transcript of his speech. I am more than willing to share it with you...

    "Nancy and other distinguished guests,

    I have called you into this extraordinary session to make you aware of a truth about this New President that will shake our beloved country to its very core...The Man Cannot Be Depended Upon To Be Consistently Reliable When It Comes To Consistency.

    I realize that the prior sentence may be hard to understand and makes no sense at all but please allow me to go on anyway.

    This President appears to have no regard for all the effort we are going to in order to destroy him. We have been working day and night on attack material to be used to lambast him with during the impromptu news conferences we were planning to call on the spur of the moment every 27 minutes from now until January 20, 2021.

    It is not an easy thing to do. We are tasked with saying the same thing over and over while, at the same time, coming up with new phraseology that makes the same old attack sound different from past attacks which, in reality, are the same but different.

    We have only recently zeroed in on a consistent theme to use against him. We were sure that this theme was a winner but now we don't know what to think. That theme simply was that this new President is just a mean, nasty and not nice person who does not want any input from us, the Loyal Opposition who have been duly chosen by the folks back home to be Loyally Opposed in opposition to everything he says, thinks about saying, proposes and/or thinks about proposing.

    By using his own words from his address to the Joint Session of Congress this past Tuesday, allow me to give several examples of how tricky and deceptive this man can be...

     How are we supposed to come up with nasty things to say about what he says when he says such as this... "True love for our people requires us to find common ground, to advance the common good, and to cooperate on behalf of every American child who deserves a brighter future." Can you believe he had the audacity to ask for our "cooperation"? Can you imagine how much overtime we are going to be saddled with to have our speech writers come up with just the right words to twist a statement such as this into something diabolical?

     The same holds true for this... "If we are guided by the well-being of American citizens then I believe Republicans and Democrats can work together to achieve an outcome that has eluded our country for decades". Can you believe this guy? Hell, before I got control of my senses, I found myself thinking I was going to vote for him in 2020.

     And last but certainly not least... "Our citizens deserve this, and so much more -- so why not join forces to finally get it done? On this and so many other things, Democrats and Republicans should get together and unite for the good of our country and for the good of the American people". Can you believe the nerve of this guy? It makes you just want to spit!

    We could depend on Dick to be Tricky. We could always depend on Dubya to not be able to properly pronounce the word "nuclear". To be perfectly honest with you, a Nice Donald asking for Cooperation from us for the good of the nation is something we were simply not prepared for.

    We always expected this President to not be willing to give in to our many and varied unreasonable demands. However, his asking for us to cooperate with him for the good of the nation is unexpected and certainly uncalled for and is in violation of something or other, and if it is not in violation of something or other, it ought to be.

    Our staff has put a lot of time and effort into writing a lot of Speeches, Talking Points and Outright Lies. At this point, we are not sure just how much of this material will still be of use to us."

        I know much of Senator Schumer's address seems a bit disjointed. In his defense, allow me to say that he has been under a lot of stress as of late.
