American Mass Murder: The Secular Left Returns to their Religion of Stopping the 2nd Amendment | Eastern NC Now

The best and the worst of Americans were revealed in the aftermath of the horrendous Sutherland Springs Massacre.

    First, the Best of Americans: The Sutherland Springs AR-style rifle owner, Stephen Willeford, sprinted to the murders in progress, and quickly drew a fine bead on the murderer, Devin Patrick Kelley, as he exited the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas; fired, then terminally wounded the once jailed and disgraced, dishonorably discharged Atheist Airman. The Texas semi automatic gun owner then flagged down a fellow Texan motorist; who, with a shaken Willeford, then expeditiously chased down the murderer when he fled in his Ford Expedition. When caught by the Texan heroes, the murderous coward then finished himself off, by his own hand, with a single shot to the head.

    Second, the Worst of Americans: Democrat politicians and Hollywood Elitists, with blazing speed, rallied around their secular religion of shutting down the Second Amendment; claimed that U.S. Constitution biased Republicans "had blood on their hands" for not passing Liberal /Socialist biased legislation to end, or limit American gun ownership.

    In this ego based Social Media society, where people post and tweet what they eat, where they vacation, who they know; desperately concerned as to the quantity their precious and so delicate egos are "Liked" by others, and, even, to what extent some claim special Victimhood: Are we losing touch with the basic tenets of good, God fearing citizens. The tenets of honor, kindness and decency that governed we decent folk, who managed to keep humanity from terminal chaos?

    I watch with horror the inhumanity of another mass shooting, and, without knowing the motive of the lone gunman, I am certain of one truth: Evil is afoot, and gaining stature in this self-obsessed, secular society, where elite minds control all the answers. In all of World history, that profound humanist hubris never aided a society to ultimately prevail.
