    Mrs. Patsy Page Williams, age 77, a resident of 1570 Lizzard Slip Road, Washington, died Wednesday evening January 17, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday January 20, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Washington officiated by Rev. Phil Hayes. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Jimmy Matthews, CJ "Buddy" Parker, Roy Lee Parker, Alan Pleasant, Larry Pleasant, Clayton Williams, David Williams, and Josh Williams will serve as pallbearers. Morris Crabtree, Jay Jones, Jeff Jones, Jesse Page, Jr., Randy Page, Robert Page, Alton Parker and George Parker will serve as honorary pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 PM prior to the service on Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Washington.

    Mrs. Williams was born in Wake County on February 3, 1940, daughter of the late Early Green Page and Verna Artelia Spivey Page. On October 27, 1956, she married Millard Ennis Williams who survives. Mrs. Williams was employed in the banking industry until her retirement in 2011 and attended the First Baptist Church in Washington.

    Prior to returning to the Washington area, Mr. and Mrs. Williams were residents of Mobile, AL. While in Mobile, they attended the Woodridge Baptist Church and she was involved with the Threads of Love, an organization to meet the needs of premature babies.

    In addition to her husband, Millard, of the home, she is survived by her daughters: Kimberly Williams Watkins (Wayne) and Denise Williams Warren (Don), all of Washington, her grandsons: Tyler Watkins (Suzanne), Ryal Watkins, Stuart Warren (Stephanie) Jaret Warren (Kim) and her great grandchildren: Kendall Watkins, Emery Watkins, Raley Warren, Brennon Warren, Lyda Warren, Lainey Warren and Leyton Warren. She is also survived by her sister: Margaret Jones of Guam and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson: Trent Watkins; her sisters: Hilda Pleasant and Rachel Sanders and her brothers: Jesse Page, Sr. and Elton Page.
