January 01, 1966 - September 25, 2019
    Mr. Richard Earl Craddock, age 53, a resident of 5240 V.O.A. Road, Washington, died September 25, 2019 at his home.

    A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday September 28, 2019 at the Craddock Family Cemetery, located at his home, officiated by Elbert Lilley. Bob Morlock, Michael Weatherington, Troy Tyson, Michael Jon Warren, Kenny Jones, Marcus Brown and Daniel Rouse will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at his home 9:00 AM until the funeral hour on Saturday.

    Mr. Craddock was born in Beaufort County on January 1, 1966, son of Charles Rayvon Craddock and Althea Williams Carboni Craddock. He was a member of the Washington High School Class of 1985. Mr. Craddock worked with Pitt Memorial Hospital for 30 years in plant operations. He was a member of Tranters Creek Church of Christ. Mr. Craddock loved to hunt, fish, go to the beach and fly kites at Hatteras. He enjoyed talking on the C.B. radio using his handle "Walkin Stick".

    On February 15, 1987, he married the former Amy Hope Moore.

    In addition to his wife, Amy, of the home, he is survived by his daughter: Rebecca Craddock Weatherington and husband, Michael; his mother: Althea Carboni and step-father: Cary Carboni of Washington; his father: Charles Rayvon Craddock of Pantego; his sister: Sherry Tyson and husband Troy of Washington; nephew: Daniel Rouse and wife Emily of Washington; niece: Jodie Rouse of Washington and his great nephew: Dawson Rouse of Washington. He was eagerly awaiting his first grandchild.
