Another Drug in Aurora Area | Eastern NC Now

A search of the residence revealed quantities of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

   On April 24, 2012, Investigators
Sabrina Jones
with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Stacy Jones, age 31, of 322 Main St. Edward, Terry Juwain Keys, age 29, of 469 Louden Rd. Aurora and Sabrina Jones, age 31, of 469 Louden Rd. Aurora. Investigators with the Drug Unit conducted a vehicle stop on a vehicle being driven by Keys with Jones as the passenger. The vehicle failed to stop for blue lights and siren and a short vehicle chase ensued on Hwy 33 W near the Satchwell Rd. in Chocowinity. Investigators were able to get the vehicle to stop and the occupants were found to be in possession of quantities of both cocaine and heroin. Keys was also in possession of Suboxone; a Schedule III Controlled Substance used for the treatment of Opiate addiction.

   Investigators in the Drug Unit also executed a search warrant at 469 Louden Rd. Aurora, which is the residence of Sabrina Jones and Terry Keys. A search of the residence revealed quantities of marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Sabrina Jones was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Less than ½ Ounce of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Terry Keys was arrested and charged with Failure to Head for Lights and Siren, Maintaining a Vehicle to Facilitate Drug Activity, Simple Possession of Schedule III CS, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Stacy Jones was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Heroin and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. One of the cocaine and paraphernalia charges stemmed from a controlled purchase of cocaine made from Jones conducted by members of the Drug Unit.

   Stacy Jones and Terry Keys were both serving a post release probation sentence with the Department of Community Corrections stemming from drug related convictions at the time of their arrest. Terry Keys and Stacy Jones were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under $20,000 secured bonds. Sabrina Jones was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, the Beaufort County Grand Jury returned a True Bill of Indictment against 24-year-old Brady O’Neil Daniels of Wallace, NC, charging him with the murder of Billy Joe Bell in 2023.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call in a wooded area near Pamlico Plantation in Washington NC.
In the past month, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and K9 Division have arrested 10 people in the county on felony drug charges.
On December 12, 2025, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested 27-year-old Nikkopenia Terra Echevarria of Washington, NC on multiple felony drug charges.
Beaufort County District Attorney Thomas D. Anglim disclosed that Ryan Austin Stalls was convicted of two counts attempted murder and one count of attempted first degree ex offense and first-degree kidnapping following a guilty plea in Beaufort County on December 9, 2025.
On December 22, 2025, Deputies from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the Aurora/Richlands area for a report of a foul odor coming from inside a rental property where a tenant had previously moved out.

On December 5, 2025, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested 39-year-old, Arnold Gerard Whitney of Belhaven, NC on multiple drug and weapon charges.
On Tuesday December 9th, 2025, 33-year-old Ryan Austin Stalls pled guilty in Beaufort County Superior Court to the following charges:
Today I officially filed for re-election, seeking to continue my service to the citizens of Beaufort County.
On January 27, 2025 Washington Police Department officers and Washington Fire/Rescue personnel responded to the area of Bonner Street and E. Martin Luther King Jr. Street in reference to a report of a motor vehicle crash.
During the past month, members from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit, Patrol Division and K9 Unit have charged seven people in the county on felony drug charges.
The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating a wanted person. On October 27, 2025, 40-year-old Givon Montrell Hodges of Washington, NC left Superior Court in Beaufort County and failed to return.

On April 25, 2024, Deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jaleza Aneice Alexander on multiple drug charges.
