office of Dan Forest for Lt. Governor today announced that Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media and two time Presidential candidate, will travel to North Carolina to keynote a fundraising reception for the Dan Forest campaign on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

    The event will be held on May 6, 2012 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Zebra Restaurant in South Charlotte.

    Under Mr. Forbes' leadership, Forbes Media has launched a variety of new publications and businesses. The company's flagship publication, Forbes, is the nation's leading business magazine. Mr. Forbes campaigned for the Republican nomination for the Presidency in both 1996 and 2000.

Raleigh, N.C. — The State Board of Elections invites the public to comment on two proposed permanent rules for implementing the photo ID requirement for in-person and absentee-by-mail voters in North Carolina.
Gov. Roy Cooper offered his official endorsement Wednesday morning to fellow Democrat Josh Stein in North Carolina’s 2024 governor’s race. Stein succeeded Cooper in 2017 as the state’s attorney general.
