Donald Trump Jr. Speaks out After New Hampshire Man Is Arrested for Assaulting Pro-Trump Teen at Polling Site | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Donald Trump Jr. took to Twitter to comment hours after a New Hampshire man was arrested on Thursday for assaulting a 15 year-old Trump supporter as well as two adults at a polling site during this week's primary. Trump Jr. pointed out that the media has ignored this attack, just as they have ignored other recent attacks on his father's supporters.

    Patrick Bradley, 34, was arrested after attacking a 15 year-old boy wearing a MAGA hat on Tuesday while the teenager was volunteering at the Trump tent at Windham High School, a polling station for the primary. Police say that Bradley was walking out of the high school when he came upon the Trump tent and became so triggered that he slapped the 15 year-old across the face before assaulting two adults who tried to intervene, according to Fox News.

    Police say that Bradley went on to throw Trump campaign signs and try to knock the tent over. He has since been charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

    Cathy Campbell, the anonymous teenager's mother, described what happened during the incident.

    "My son stayed home from school on Tuesday for a doctor's appointment and we drove by the high school to go vote. When we got there, we saw Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle, and my son was over the moon," she said. "My son is the most patriotic kid you'd ever meet in your life."

    She added that later in the day, her son was invited to volunteer at the Trump tent and hold campaign signs at the polling site.

    "I was apprehensive about him wearing the MAGA hat, because we know it can provoke and we know people don't like Trump," she explained. "But he wore the hat because he's a proud 15-year-old and he doesn't know what people are going to be like."

    "My son was standing outside on the sidewalk and he said 'have a nice night,' he said it to everyone. But this man was triggered," Campbell added. "He said 'f- you' to him and wound up his hand as fast as he could and slapped him across the face."

    She went on to say that one of the adult men who intervened was also wearing a MAGA hat, and that man allegedly now has a fractured jaw.

    Campbell went on to say that her husband is a local firefighter who got the call about the assault, not realizing his own son was the victim.

    "He got the call about the assault and didn't know it was our son until he got there," she said.

    "He's the sweetest kid," Campbell said of her teenage son. "He was so excited and not realizing that something like this could happen."

    She said that her son has been "pretty traumatized" since the assault.

    "This guy lives in our town. It's pretty unnerving," she said, adding that her son has still been going to school and is getting "a lot of support from his peers."

    "There will always be the people who try to blame the victim," she said. "But he certainly did nothing wrong. It's scary that you can't express without which political party you are. People need to know how much intolerance there is right now."

    "It sickens me that people would be angry at a kid for wearing a stupid hat," she said. "And everybody that has reached out has just talked about what an amazing kid he is."

    Campbell also said that she and her family are "Republicans, and we are Trump supporters."

    "He's not perfect, but he's our president and we support him," she said.

    This comes days after 27 year-old Florida resident Gregory Timm allegedly rammed his van into a Republican Party voter registration tent in Florida. Afterwards, he did not seem to have any regrets, telling police he did not like Trump and "someone had to take a stand."

    Trump Jr. took to Twitter yesterday evening to call out the mainstream media for ignoring the growing number of assaults on Trump supporters.

    "So a leftist attacks 3 Trump supporters, including a 15 year old child, in NH this week," he wrote. "Last week a deranged leftist attempted to run over a group of Trump supporters with a car in FL. What will it take for the MSM to finally call out leftwing violence?"

    The liberal media ignores stories about attacks on Trump supporters because they do not fit their narrative of Republicans being violent and deranged. They want the public to think that liberals are the ones in danger of being attacked by Trump supporters, but in reality, it's the other way around.

    The mainstream media has vilified Trump supporters to the point where crazed leftists like Bradley think it's perfectly acceptable to assault a minor just for supporting the president. Make no mistake, the blood of the Trump supporters that have been assaulted is on the hands of the liberal media.
