Republican Bd. of Elections Members Resign | Eastern NC Now

    The two Republican members of the NC Board of Elections have abruptly resigned. They attribute their reasons to be how the recent vote on the lawsuit settlement. They imply they were misled by the information furnished them before they voted for the settlement. They say that if they had known the full truth they would have voted "no" and the vote would then have been 3-2 to accept the settlement rather than unanimous.
