    Real environmentalists are suing and usually winning to stop new wind turbines in Germany because wind turbines are devastating to the environment. With the Merkel government's "Energiewende" promoting wind and solar, Germany's forests have been clear cut to make space for gaggles of wind turbines., destroying wildlife habitat and killing millions of birds and bats.

    Merkel is even trying to stop the tide of lawsuits against wind turbines by declaring building wind and solar a "national security" issue.

    It is not just Germany. A public records request in Scotland recently revealed that clear cutting forests for wind turbines there had destroyed 13.2 million trees.

    Since when is destroying trees, killing large numbers of birds and bats, and destroying wildlife habitat considered "environmentally friendly"? It is not in a sane world.
