Obama released the 5 in exchange for US deserter Bowe Bergdahl
Former President Obama made a rotten deal with the Taliban to release five hard core Taliban terrorists from the GITMO terrorist prison camp in return for their sending back US army deserter and traitor Bowe Bergdahl. Conservatives denounced that deal at the time, but the consequences are now hitting home. Four of those five are now at the top level of the new Taliban controlled Afghan dictatorship. Another Taliban that Obama released from GITMO is the new Taliban governor of the important Khost province.
Biden's idiot Secretary of State boasts of long US association with some of the Taliban leadership. Is that from their extended Caribbean vacation imposed at Club Gitmo? Wonder how that is going to turn out?
It seems that it would have been better to have left Bergdahl with the Taliban and these terrorists in GITMO. It is also telling that the Democrats were more interested in getting a deserter and traitor back than the hundreds of American citizens left stranded in Afghanistan in our botched withdrawal.
