Illegal alien arrested for deliberately setting wildfires | Eastern NC Now
Mexican national arrested while setting second fire
Sadly, this is not the first time this has happened but an illegal alien from Mexico has been arrested in the act of setting wildfires in the Jacumba Wilderness in California. The illegal alien had already set one fire and was in the process of setting a second one when he was arrested. The 18 year old migrant was expelled back to Mexico but apparently without any arson charges against him. The fires were near the southern border and the illegal alien arsonist was apprehended by the Border Patrol. After a day battling the first blaze the migrant started, the Bureau of Land Management was able to bring it under control using fixed wing and helicopter air tankers.
