Florida is America's Sweden on Covid | Eastern NC Now

The corrupt and biased corporate media (the self styled MSM) will not dare tell you this, but Florida is leading the nation in lowering their Covid numbers and doing it with a very light government touch - no lockdowns, no mask requirements, no vaccine mandates, and protecting personal freedom.  According to reports on radio, Florida now has the lowest per capita Covid rate in the country. They have been near the lowest for weeks, but are now the very lowest.

In Europe, Sweden has posted much better Covid results than the countries which have imposed severe restrictions on liberty.  Sweden never did a lockdown, mask requirement, or vaccine requirement.

In contrast, Covid is running wild in the most heavily vaxxed state in the country, Vermont, where 90% of the adult population have received the vaccine.  Vermont is also very heavy on restrictions of personal freedom due to Covid.  It does not work.

In addition, Florida's Surgeon General has just made a statement commenting on the science of masks on school children, citing real data that they accomplish nothing.

Governor deSantis has called a special session of the state legislature to take up legislation to protect the civil rights of those who choose not to be vaccinated and to prohibit discrimination against them.
