key races in Washington and Bath

ENCNow

Today is election day in most of our municipalities.  Two key elections to watch are in Bath and Washington.

In Bath, two conservative Republicans who properly filed and are listed on the ballot are running against two liberal write-ins.  One of the liberals openly proclaims he is running for "change" and "progress", both left wing buzzwords.

In Washington, two slates and a number of candidates running on their own are vying for office.  A white liberal slate of 4 candidates is composed of Wyman, Hodges, Finnerty, and Kane.  The mayor is running a somewhat less liberal and multi-racial 3-man slate of Renn,  Pitt, and Brooks.  Among the candidates running on their own, by far the strongest is the only genuine conservative in the race, former councilman and mayor pro tem Bobby Roberson.
