Florida mulls withdrawing from OSHA over vax mandate | Eastern NC Now

would set up its own state agency for worker safety

ENCNow

A special session of the Florida legislature will convene next week to consider legislation to push back against federal Covid overreach.  A number of such bills are expected to pass.

The most significant bill would remove the State of Florida from federal OSHA jurisdiction and set up its own state agency to oversee worker safety.  Biden is using OSHA "emergency rules" to force his vaccine mandate on companies.

Other bills would allow employees to sue employers which try to require vaccine mandates of the employees, give parents sole responsibility to determine if their children will be vaccinated, and preventing government employees from being forced into vaccination.
