Can you say Red Wave? | Eastern North Carolina Now

News Release:

    Good afternoon,

The list of Democrats retiring just keeps growing. From the U.S. House to the North Carolina House, Democrats are running scared because they know their chances of winning are dwindling just like Joe Biden's approval ratings.

The list of North Carolina Democrats opting to retire over seeking re-election include:

  • U.S. Rep. David Price
  • U.S. Rep. G.K. Butterfield
  • State Rep. James Gaillard
  • State Rep. Charles Graham
  • State Rep. Verla Insko
  • State Sen. Ben Clark

These North Carolina Democrat retirements aren't unique, however. Democrats across the country are taking their hat out of the ring for the 2022 election and it's spelling trouble for Biden, Schumer and Pelosi . The list of Democrats retiring isn't the only thing the Left has to worry about. North Carolinians are fed up with the continued failures of the Biden administration. Over two-thirds of North Carolinians believe the country is on the wrong track, and it's no wonder considering the 164,303 illegal border crossings in October, the dozens of Americans stranded in Afghanistan and the 31-year-high inflation rate that have all occurred under Biden's watch.

"The growing number of Democrat retirements plus the Biden agenda that caused a border crisis, a botched Afghanistan withdrawal and record-high inflation equals a Red Wave next November."- RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley
