Harris Meets With Female Activist Who Ranted ‘F*** The White’ Women | Eastern North Carolina Now

    On Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris held a meeting with a black feminist activist who had stated publicly, "F*** white women."

    Harris met with Cora Masters Barry and other members of the Black Women Leaders and Allies on Monday. Barry, the wife of the late Washington, D.C., Mayor Marian Barry, was participating on a Zoom call last November with Rolling Out CEO Munson Steed and fellow activist Melanie Campbell as they discussed white women voting more for Republican candidates, The Daily Mail reported.

    Barry ranted, "F*** the white - excuse me - forget the white women. They're going to do what the white men tell them to do. ... They be smiling in [your face]; they want to stay in charge. ... I don't care nothing about them, we gotta do what we gotta do."

    Barry continued, "I'm not saying everyone who voted for Trump is wearing a white sheet, but they got one in their closet, and it comes out when we start messing with the economic balance or the balance of power."

    She asserted that her group had "got to start organizing to make sure that the next President of the United States is a black woman. And that's not going to happen if we don't reach all of our black people, because they're the ones who are going to put her in there. Those white folks ain't gonna put her in there."

    Campbell tweeted support of former Women's March co-chair Tamika Mallory in 2018, writing, "Black women all over the nation and Diaspora stand [in] solidarity and support of our #sistar leader TamikaDMallory #IStandwithTamikaMallory."

    Mallory has been associated with the noted anti-Semite and racist Louis Farrakhan; Mallory has gone as far as labeling him the GOAT (greatest of all time). Mallory called the founding of the state of Israel a "human rights crime."

    In February 2019, Mallory made a point of defending Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after Omar had been harshly criticized for tweeting that GOP support for Israel was "all about the Benjamins."

    "I can't sit back silently as a Black woman and watch the attacks on @IlhanMN. I am sick and tired of watching Black and Brown women be used as scapegoats for white nationalism. Enough is a DAMN-NOUGH. We must all speak up and speak out," Mallory tweeted, adding, "I will stand with Ilhan, they will not break us. No matter what they try to do we will stand bolder, stronger and more determined."

    In June 2020, Mallory told CNN that the way to handle rioters who were going around looting would be to "arrest the cops."

    "Tamika, what are you feeling tonight when you look at what's happening in cities around the country?" CNN's Don Lemon asked.

    "Well, to answer your question how I would handle looters, I would arrest the cops so we can get people off the street and into their homes and be able to really determine who may be looters, who may be criminals, and who are actually protesters," Mallory said.
