Lockdowngate emails - another Climategate? | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Climategate emails showed exactly what the climate alarmist scientists are, fraudsters manipulating data to "prove" their side of arguments and scheming to keep the viewpoints of scientists who disagree with them from being heard.  Now a group of emails has emerged, this time from a Freedom of Information request rather than a leak, on the "science" behind the Covid lockdowns and Fauci is right in the middle of it.  The emails show Fauci conspiring with other pro-lockdown scientists to try to discredit a number of prominent epidemiologists and virologists who disagree with them on the need for and wisdom of lockdowns.  These emails should be called Lockdowngate.

Both climate alarmism and Covid restrictions are driven by the same thing, abuse of science to stimulate an irrational fear among the public to allow a reduction in human freedom.  The immediate past President of the Czech Republic, Dr. Vaclav Klaus, wrote that climate alarmism is "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today".  That was before the great Covid scare, which now is at least as great a threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity.
