Federal prosecutors have released video footage of a 2005 raid conducted on Jeffrey Epstein's Palm Beach mansion. The footage was released just before longtime Epstein pal Ghislaine Maxwell's defense delivered closing arguments in her sex-trafficking trial.

The New York Post reported that the hour-long video shows Palm Beach police officers searching Epstein's home with their guns drawn.

"Inside, they discover creepy paintings of naked women hanging on the wall, as well as a black-and-white portrait of Maxwell holding what appears to be a Yorkshire terrier dog inside a marble-walled room. There's also what appears to be a photo of a topless Maxwell lounging," the outlet reported. "Several women have alleged that Epstein sexually abused them inside the horror house under the guise of massages."

Maxwell is currently on trial for allegedly procuring underage girls for Epstein.

Palm Beach Sgt. Michael Dawson testified at Maxwell's trial that cops searched Epstein's Florida mansion for massage tables, oils, and sex toys. He also said they looked for journals and other correspondence.

    More from the Post:

Video of the raid was first published in August 2019, after Epstein's suicide behind bars while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges.

The exhibits released Monday also include several photos of a young Annie Farmer, one of Maxwell's accusers, who testified on Friday that the disgraced British socialite gave her a nude massage and groped her at Epstein's New Mexico ranch when she was a teen.

Farmer - the only accuser to testify using her full name - said she was lured to the ranch after meeting Epstein through her sister months earlier because she thought the duo viewed her as a "student they may want to help."

Maxwell's defense attorneys said her friendship with Epstein may have been a "mistake," but insisted "it was not a crime" during closing arguments, The Daily Wire reported.

David Marcus, who has been covering the trial for The Daily Wire, noted on Monday the eight key reasons why Maxwell should be found guilty that Assistant U.S. Attorney Alison Moe focused on in her own closing arguments:

The first reason offered was that Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell "were a team, they were partners and lovers." This is why, Moe confirmed, the government had shown a long series of photos of the pair over a stretch of time, with different hairstyles, often in an embrace. Maxwell was painted not as an employee who had a brief romantic relationship with Epstein, but as a life partner, "the lady of the house," and a co-conspirator.

Second up for Moe was an argument that Maxwell used the same playbook, over and over, with multiple young girls. This included the creepy detail from two accusers that Maxwell had begun her grooming by teaching them how to massage his bare feet. The accusers who testified all described some similar experiences. Maxwell, Moe argued, had a system, and was the sophisticated, posh, "big sister" who set up the victims for Epstein.

Reasons 3, 4, and 5 why Moe argued the jury knows Maxwell is guilty was the testimony of accusers "Jane", Annie Farmer, and "Carolyn," respectively. Curiously the witness who went by "Kate" was not listed, perhaps because the alleged sex with her happened when she was of age.

The sixth reason Moe gave was because of Epstein's infamous black address book. The seventh reason was due to the amount of money Epstein had given Maxwell over the years, and the final reason was because of the timeline that Moe said placed Maxwell in the vicinity of Epstein's abuse.
