British Medical Journal slams Facebook ''fact check'' on Covid | Eastern NC Now

says entire Facebook "fact check" process is faulty

ENCNow

Facebook slapped one of its politicized "fact check" labels on a peer reviewed article in one of the world's oldest medical journals and its editors are livid.  The British Medical Journal has been published since 1840 by the British Medical Association. In November, it published a peer reviewed article pointing out serious flaws in Pfizer's testing of its Covid vaccine.  That led Facebook's "fact check" contractor Lead Stories to place a "misleading" label on the British Medical Journal article, meaning it could not be shared on Facebook.  The editors have published a letter they sent to Mark Zuckerburg calling Facebook out on its flawed "fact check" process.

Lead Stories has previously been revealed to be partly financed by Chinese interests.
