GOP House leader: Chamber of Commerce left GOP | Eastern NC Now

Chamber is NOT welcome back

ENCNow

GOP Congressional leader Kevin McCarthy, although often viewed as largely a RINO, has taken a public stand against a major special interest organization, the big business US Chamber of Commerce, saying they left the Republican Party years ago and are not welcome back.  In recent years, the Chamber has abandoned its previous free enterprise positions and has become largely a cheerleader for insider "crony capitalism" In doing so has been mostly abandoned by its previous small business members.  Its policy positions like supporting illegal immigration are offensive to much of the GOP base, and it has worked to promote many of Biden's spending schemes.

Now will "China Mitch" McConnell also see the light in the US Senate?  What about Phil Berger and Tim Moore in the NC General Assembly?  All three are joined at the hip with the special interests, and the Chamber of Commerce is the mother of all special interests.

This isn't your father's Chamber of Commerce. They are gung-ho for more immigration from the Third World. The US Chamber of Commerce CEO just called for amnesty for the illegal aliens and doubling legal immigration. www.breitbart.com

It's a good thing that someone at a high level in the GOP has finally wised up.
