Dem Senate Hopefuls Beasley & Finkenauer Run Away From Biden Agenda | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Washington, D.C. - Today, Governor Stacey Abrams (as she still thinks of herself) shocked the political world when she snubbed the President and Vice President at an event in Georgia that was seemingly planned just for her.

    But Abrams isn't alone in wanting to run far away from Biden and his failed agenda. Far from it. According to the Daily Beast, Cheri Beasley in North Carolina and Abby Finkenauer in Iowa also have done all they can to separate themselves from the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' top legislative priority, "Build Back Better [Broke]."

    In fact, Finkenauer has yet to mention the bill ONCE on her social media accounts.

    For her part, Beasley has avoided mentioning the bill by name. When pressed why she refuses to mention the President's top legislative priority, a Beasley spokesperson kept up the dance, saying that she supports policies that lower costs for North Carolinians... whatever that means.

    Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: "The Biden agenda is political poison. Not only are the President and Vice President being left at the alter in Georgia by their prized candidate, but now Democrat Senate hopefuls won't even mention his top legislative priority by name. It is a self-perpetuating embarrassment that underscores just how out of step Washington Democrats are with the American people. The writing is on the wall for Democrats in 2022 and they are attempting to do all they can to save themselves."
