RNC moves to block Debate Commission participation | Eastern NC Now

Slams corrupt Commission on Presidential Debates

ENCNow

Republican voters have long been tired of an establishment controlled Commission on Presidential Debates which has for years rigged the presidential debates for Democrats.  Even former Presidential candidate Bob Dole spoke out on the way the last set of "debates" were rigged against Trump, pointing out that he personally knew all of the members of the commission and not a one of them was  a Trump supporter.  Debate "moderators" have been pulled from the Democrat apologists of the MSM and have skewed the discussion to the left side of the spectrum.

Finally, the Republican National Committee is fighting back, announcing it will change its rules to prohibit the Republican nominee from participating in debates run by this politically corrupt commission.

This will not necessarily stop presidential debates, it will just prevent this commission from running them as its bias is massive and readily apparent.  The most likely outcome will be negotiations directly between the two campaigns on debate details, which will mean a more even handed approach.

The most objective format for any political debates, including presidential is that of the Lincoln-Douglas debates, where the questions came from each candidate, NOT from a moderator. In fact there was no moderator at all. Moderators controlling the questions, especially when they are from the liberal media, is one of the major ways that political bias enters into the current debate format. Most so-called political debates today are really serial media interviews, and that does not inform the voters the way a real debate would.

Finally. This response from the RNC is just another example of changing the course of a ship that sailed way off course long ago. OK, I'll slow clap this action but, in reality, there just ain't a lot of credibility left.
