RINO Pat McCrory again telling lie trying to connect Ted Budd and Soros | Eastern NC Now

The first time, the lie came in a slick postcard from a PAC supporting McCrory, giving him some deniability, but now RINO McCrory has signed his name to a letter containing the lie. There is no question the buck stop with him for this dirty political lie.

The lie in question is trying to tie conservative, Trump-endorsed Congressman Ted Budd to George Soros.  McCrory's letter echoed the language of that PAC slick postcard, claiming Ted Budd and George Soros were "joined at the hip" and "business partners".

What really happened?  Ted Budd's father started a small family owned company called Budd Seed, which was bought out by a large national agricultural company.  Budd's father then served on the board and as an officer of the national company.  Ted Budd, still a young man, had a very minor local job in North Carolina, nowhere near management.  Soros had NO involvement in Budd Seed, and his only involvement in the national company is that he invested some money in it.  Soros never served on its board or in any capacity other than a mere investor / stockholder.  The lying Pat McCrory inflates that into being "joined at the hip" and "business partners".

But here's the kicker; it is MCCRORY who has a real connection to George Soros.  The main consultant in McCrory's Senate campaign is Paul Shumaker.  Shumaker is also a paid lobbyist / strategist for Soros-funded environmental organizations to push the green agenda and Green New Deal in the North Carolina legislature.  As long as McCrory has Shumaker by his side running this campaign, then it is McCrory "joined at the hip" with Soros, and in a political, rather than business context.

McCrory is a brazen liar and unfit for public office.  He did such a miserable job as governor, stabbing the GOP base in the back, that he gave us Roy Cooper.  He is endorsed by RINO liberal Senator Richard Burr, the only Republican senator ever censured by the North Carolina Republican Party.  If you like Burr and Tillis, you will love McCrory, who is another left wing RINO just like them.
