Climate alarmists push massive new tax on meat | Eastern NC Now

The climate alarmist "green mafia" has been working for some time to drive up costs of gasoline and electricity, and have now turned their attention to driving up the cost of meat.  Climate alarmists, in tilting at their windmill of "global warming / climate change" are at war with the middle class lifestyle.  Their solution, as usual, is a big new tax, in this case over 50% in some cases, on meat products.

This demand for draconian meat taxes originates in Germany, as does much of the climate alarmist nonsense, but climate alarmists in America, including North Carolina, have a bad habit of copying their stupid ideas.  Take electricity, where Germany's scheme to abandon coal, gas, and nuclear in favor of wind and solar has given them electric rates three times the size of ours in North Carolina.  Far left Governor Roy Cooper  with the help of RINO quisling "Republican" legislative leaders Phil Berger and Tim Moore, put through a bill to do the very same thing in North Carolina, HB951, just a few months ago.

An anti-meat position has been part of the climate alarmist crusade for some time but has taken a back seat to their war on affordable electricity and gasoline.  Last year, a government funded environmentalist think tank in the UK suggested that in ten years Brits should be eating crickets and meal worms instead of beef, pork, and poultry.

Climate alarmists, and their political allies like Cooper, Biden, AOC, Tim Moore, and Phil Berger are leading a war on the middle class life style, and they need to be stopped.  The Climategate emails exposed the climate alarmists as frauds scheming to block all the scientists who disagreed with their fantasy.  But for those who want the REAL science on "global warming / climate change" the UK's Channel 4 ran a great documentary entitled "The Great Global Warming Swindle" which was broadcast nationally in the UK.  In it a parade of world renowned climate scientists rips the theory of manmade global warming to shreds.  It can be watched here:
