UK power prices to double as a result of wind / solar push | Eastern North Carolina Now

According to the UK's largest circulation broadsheet newspaper, the Daily Telegraph of London, the push to wind and solar power is set to cause the country's electric rates to double and it could happen in as little as five years.  The UK's electric rates are already some of the highest in Europe, although less than wind / solar obsessed Germany.  The UK has almost phased out coal fired electricity and added lots of expensive and unreliable wind and solar.  The article is entitled "Myopic politicians are willfully blind to the truth about green energy."

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/01/01/myopic-politicians-wilfully-blind-truth-green-energy/

"We are paying more than we need to for our energy because the government has loaded fossil fuels with carbon levies, switched electric production to much more expensive renewables, and deprived Britain of what could have been by now a very productive native shale gas industry," the Daily Telegraph said.

In another sign of things to come with British electricity, part of globalist Boris Johnson's "Build Back Better" plan will study rationing of electricity.  Wind and solar are not reliable sources of power, and in other places that have gone heavy into "green" energy like the state of South Australia, heavy reliance of wind and solar has led to regular rolling blackouts.

Unfortunately, North Carolina is on the very same destructive path thanks to HB951, Roy Cooper's Green New Deal, passed with the collusion of RINO legislative leaders Phil Berger and Tim Moore.  We have our very own myopic politicians right here in North Carolina.
