Press Release:

    Good morning,

Ever since Chuck Schumer rigged the North Carolina primary in favor of his handpicked candidate Cheri Beasley, Beasley has been hiding from the press. Since Jeff Jackson dropped out of the U.S. Senate race, Beasley has participated in only one anti-climatic TV interview with WXLV-Greensboro.

Even members of Beasley's own party are taking notice of her campaign's silence.

    TRANSCRIPT

"She could be better about articulating what her views are. At the end of the day, we need her to be out conducting town halls. That was something that was something that was very promising about Senator Jeff Jackson. You know, going out to where the people are. I still remember this image of him standing on top of a picnic table in the rain. We do need to see more of that from former Justice Cheri Beasley...I think we as just everyday Democrats and everyday folks want to see and feel more of her."

Just like her predecessor Cal Cunningham, Beasley is doing exactly as she is told by Schumer and trying to run for office without ever even taking a position. It's no surprise that Beasley is spending her campaign avoiding answering questions that matter to North Carolinians; she's just waiting for Schumer to tell her what to say.

"Cheri Beasley is trying to win the North Carolina Senate race by avoiding the tough questions and allowing her out-of-state donors to do the work for her . North Carolinians deserve better than a candidate who blindly recites D.C. talking points, and members of her own party know it too."- RNC Spokeswoman Alex Nolley
