Canadian Civil Liberties Assn. condemns Trudeau emergency powers | Eastern NC Now

The liberal Canada Civil Liberties Association has joined many of the country's provincial premiers in opposing Trudeau's use of emergency powers against the peaceful Freedom Convoy truckers protest.  "The federal government has not met the threshold necessary to invoke the Act" the civil liberties organization declared.

In Quebec, not only did the provincial government object to the imposition of federal emergency powers, but the opposition joined them in that position.
