Candace Cameron Bure Talks Death Of Former Costar Bob Saget | Eastern North Carolina Now

    Actress Candace Cameron Bure spoke about the passing of her former "Full House" co-star Bob Saget on Wednesday, detailing the struggle since Saget's loss and the questions surroundings his death, which Bure said she's trying not to think about.

    "It's been a little over a month, and there's days that are great and days that it just hits you," Bure told "Fox & Friends" host Ainsley Earhardt.

    "I keep in close contact with Kelly [Rizzo]," Bure said, referring to Saget's widow. "It's been difficult these past couple weeks, because of more things that have come out, and there's a lot of questions."

    "I'm trying, honestly, not to think about it, in the sense that I wanna remember Bob and what a kind and loving and amazing person that he was," she added. "And let it be that."

    The Hallmark star described Saget as always being "emotionally available."

    "He was so emotionally available, and he just always, always let you know that he loved you," Bure told Earhardt. "Every text, every phone call, every moment in person. He would give you the biggest hug, and he always let you know how much he cared about you."

    "That is such an incredibly powerful gift that he gave," she added. "And that's what I want to carry on. I want to hug like Bob."

    The Daily Wire highlighted this week that Saget's family, including his widow Kelly Rizzo and three daughters, have filed a lawsuit to block the release of records from the investigation of the comedian's death.

    "Saget died on January 9 from head trauma; he was found dead in an Orlando hotel room," The Daily Wire noted. "He had performed in a stand-up show the previous night. His death was ruled an accident by the chief medical examiner for Orange and Osceola counties."

    Following Saget's death, Bure published a lengthy Instagram post about the loss.

    "Oh, Bob. Why'd you have to leave us so soon?" the post reads. "We are all family, but you were the glue. The sticky, messy, squishy, sweet, lovable glue."

    "My childhood is wrapped up in you, my formative teenaged years and the rest of adulthood," she continued. "You taught me to feel deeply at such a young age. You were never afraid or ashamed to share your emotions, to cry, to love, to laugh and say it out loud."

    "We've always been so deeply connected since the day we met when I was 10 years old," Bure wrote. "You weren't just like a father, but one of my closest friends in life. This hurts like nothing I've ever felt before. I love you, I love you, I love you. You knew that. I knew that. But I have to say it again. I want one more hug. I want one more text that says, 'oh, [by the way], it's me Bob' after a long rant. I want one more laugh. I want to roll my eyes at you one more time. I want you to tell me to watch something but then tell me maybe I shouldn't because of my faith."

    "You were always so protective of me, and cared about everything," Bure said. "And everybody. You were the best. You were... Bob."

    "There will never be another like you. I wish you could see the outpouring of love you have. You've certainly left a beautiful legacy in kindness, compassion, loyalty, generosity, and love. I'm not saying goodbye because you'll never leave my heart. Even with this gigantic tear in it," she closed the post.
