UK Dept. of Education publishes ''Political Impartiality in Schools" directive

ENCNow

In a sweeping move to crack down on political bias in education, the British Department of Education has published a "Political Impartiality in Schools" directive to teachers.  The directive enforces British statutory law that requires schools to present contested political issues with a balanced view of both sides and not present contested political issues as fact for one side.

The new directive specifically instructs teachers not to promote the views of BLM, Critical Race Theory, or defunding the police without presenting both sides.
