Conservative Fighter – Small Business Owner – Endorsed by President Trump

ENCNow
Press Release:

(Raleigh, NC)     Ted Budd today filed his paperwork with the NC State Board of Elections to be a Republican candidate for US Senate. The filing had been delayed for months by Democratic activist judges who decided to play partisan politics rather than adjudicate the law.

"I've been a conservative fighter for the people of the 13th Congressional District, and it's been a privilege for Amy Kate and I to take that fight statewide," said Ted Budd. "I'm a small business owner and I know first-hand the challenges faced by our job creators. I know what it's like to have to meet a payroll every two weeks and I know that government is the obstacle to economic growth, not the cause. And yes, I'm the candidate endorsed by President Donald Trump, and I am honored to have his endorsement. Our America First platform protects and promotes American jobs as the top priority."

Republicans are uniting their support around Ted Budd. Ted Budd has been endorsed by President Donald Trump, Newt Gingrich, 1 US Senator, 14 US House colleagues, 51 NC Legislators, and 14 NC Sheriffs. He has also been endorsed by the Dairy Farmers of America, the Senate Conservatives Fund, the National Border Patrol Council, the Gun Owners of America, and the Club for Growth. He currently leads all Republican candidates with the most cash-on-hand and already has organized grassroots coalitions in all 100 NC counties. This grassroots coalition of Ted Budd crew chiefs made more than 23,000 volunteer phone calls last week alone.

Ted Budd is a small businessman raised in Davie County where he and his wife, Amy Kate, live today with their three children and Boone, their dog. Ted was elected to Congress along with President Donald Trump in 2016 and has established a strong, conservative record supporting efforts to secure our borders and stand up for America First policies that protect American jobs and increase opportunities for working men and women across North Carolina. Ted has spent his career as a small businessman and presently owns and operates a gun store and training center.
