Kamala Harris' Marie Antoinette moment | Eastern NC Now

Shortly before the French Revolution, Queen Marie Antoinette was asked what peasants should do with bread prices rising and becoming unaffordable.  She responded "let them eat cake".

Kamala Harris has just said something just as out of touch.  Asked what people should do with gas prices rising making it where some people can no longer afford to drive, her answer was to the effect of "let them drive electric cars".

What?  Electric cars are much more expensive than conventional cars.  How are people who cannot afford gas going to afford them?  How would they pay for the electricity to run them, given that the Biden regime's green energy policies will shortly do to electric rates the same thing it has done for gasoline prices.  And when the lithium batteries in those cars go bad, a new battery costs as much as the whole car when it was new, that is if the lithirum has not already spontaneously combusted, as it is prone to do, and burned up the car and whatever else might have been around it.
