Parents fury over elementary school's woke lesson | Eastern NC Now

Segregating kids

ENCNow

Fifth grade students at Leon Springs Elementary in San Antonio in January were given a controversial class on segregation.

The students were divided according to hair color and one group was told they were privileged, leaving the others to clean up after them.

The disadvantaged group were also given a puzzle with a piece missing, leaving them unable to complete it.

Brandi and Mike Lininger told their local news channel that their 10-year-old daughter was left unable to sleep after the class.

She was upset at being shown autopsy photos of the four young girls who died in the 1963 bombing of an Alabama church by the KKK.

The Liningers said they were most angry that the school had not informed them in advance of the controversial class.

The Northside Independent School District told local TV that they had reassessed the class and concluded it was not 'age appropriate'.

The people that did this are NOT teachers they are child abusers and should be in jail and never allowed near children again.  How could anyone in their right mind think this was okay?
