SCOTUS strikes down Wisconsin redistricting Democrat map | Eastern NC Now

failed to strike down NC court gerrymander because too close to election

ENCNow

The SCOTUS acknowledged that the Democrat court gerrymander for Congressional districts in NC had serious issues that the court should resolve, but it punted and let the gerrymandered districts stand because it was too close to election time to make changes.  Ultra partisan Democrat hacks on the NC Supreme Court engineered the gerrymander of our districts.

But they took a different tack in Wisconsin, throwing out the Congressional districts drawn by the Democrat governor and imposed by their state Supreme Court.  Wisconsin's districts now go back to the drawing board.  The SCOTUS in their ruling further reduced the impact of the Voting Rights Act on redistricting.

We need to get our crooked courts out of the gerrymandering business.  The Constitution clearly says that state legislatures do redistricting, not politically corrupt courts.
